About Our API

The Bridge Application programming interfaces (APIs) allow healthcare organizations to connect the Bridge Interact patient engagement platform with other third-party software systems or mobile apps – including EMR/EHR software, practice management systems (PMS), billing software, apps for patient use, reporting or analytics tools, and more.

The API is fully documented, enabling healthcare organizations and EHR/PMS vendors to develop independently using the API.

Enhance your business by making use of Bridge’s API for:

  • Patient Registration: Allow patients to register and create accounts within their patient portals and enable easy access to medical information and services.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Give patients the ability to view available slots, book appointments, and receive confirmation notifications.
  • Access to Medical Records: Provide patients with the ability to securely access their medical records (including lab results, diagnoses, medications, and treatment history) through the patient portal.
  • Secure Messaging: Enable secure communications between patients and healthcare providers. Patients can send messages, ask questions, and receive responses from their care team.
  • Prescription Refills: Implement prescription refill functionality, allowing patients to request medication refills through the patient portal, streamlining the process.
  • Health Reminders and Notifications: Facilitate the delivery of automated reminders and notifications to patients regarding upcoming appointments, medication schedules, and other critical healthcare information.
  • Telehealth Integration: Integrate telehealth services into your patient portal and let patients schedule and conduct virtual appointments with their healthcare providers.
  • Personal Health Tracking: Enable patients to sync data from personal health-tracking devices and applications with their patient portal for a comprehensive health overview.
  • Bill Payments and Financial Management: Add billing and payment capabilities to the patient portal so patients can view bills, make payments, review insurance claims, and manage their finances.
